Community Connection Event Shareable Flyer (PDF)
On March 6, 2024, OPP staff will hold two in-person educational programs in Sulphur and Lake Charles, Louisiana. Each program will feature presentations from FERC staff and provide opportunities for informal discussions and questions. This event is free and open to the public. The public is welcome to attend either program, but please note that the content and format will be the same at each location. These programs are not public comment sessions or meetings, and FERC staff will not receive or record comments for specific proceedings at these events.
During the events, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about:
- FERC’s review of energy infrastructure projects, including its obligations under the National Environmental Policy Act;
- Public participation opportunities in the siting, construction, and restoration of FERC-regulated natural gas transmission pipeline projects and LNG facilities;
