Equal Employment Opportunity and Civil Rights (EEOCR)
The Equal Employment Opportunity and Civil Rights develops, manages and directs the Commission's affirmative employment planning, and EEO discrimination complaint processing programs. This Staff is concerned with equal employment opportunity, and ensures that employees and applicants for employment are treated without regard to race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, or mental/physical handicap. This Staff is also responsible for implementing programs designed to enhance the hiring and advancement of women, minorities, disabled veterans, and handicapped individuals.
