Nicole Sitaraman is the Director of the Office of Public Participation (OPP) at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
Ms. Sitaraman joined the Commission as the inaugural Deputy Director of OPP in February 2022. Prior to joining FERC, she served in legal and policy advocacy roles such as Vice President of External Affairs and Policy at Sustainable Capital Advisors, Senior Manager of Public Policy at Sunrun, and Assistant People’s Counsel in the Office of the People’s Counsel for the District of Columbia.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature at Yale University and Juris Doctor at Boston University School of Law.
