ORDER DIRECTING THE NORTH AMERICAN ELECTRIC RELIABILITY CORPORATION TO FILE RELIABILITY STANDARD(S) PERTAINING TO COMPUTATIONAL LOAD INTEGRATION
The order directs North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), pursuant to section 215(d)(5) of the Federal Power Act, to develop and submit new or modified Reliability Standards addressing the reliability risks associated with the integration of computational loads into the Bulk-Power System. The Commission also directs NERC to develop revisions to its Rules of Procedure, including registry criteria for computational load entities. Both The Reliability Standards and Rules of Procedure revisions are due by December 31, 2026.

The order grants Appalachian Power Company a 50-year license to continue operating and maintaining the two-development Byllesby-Buck Project, located on the New River in Carroll County, Virginia. The project’s authorized capacity being licensed is 29.8 megawatts.

ORDER ISSUING CERTIFICATE
The order grants Leaf River Energy Center LLC’s request for a certificate to construct, modify, and operate facilities at its New Home Salt Dome Storage Facility in Smith, Jasper, and Clarke Counties, Mississippi. The project will increase the certificated working gas capacity of the facility by 19.18 Bcf.
