FERC and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) today announced their Commissioners will meet in a joint session to discuss matters of common interest on January 25, 2024, at FERC’s Washington, D.C., headquarters.
The meeting will be the latest in a series of joint meetings between the two agencies going back nearly two decades.
The meeting, which begins at 10 a.m., will feature presentations and discussion with staff from FERC, NRC and the North American Electric Reliability Corporation on topics ranging from grid reliability and nuclear power plants to cyber security updates. The Commissioners will go into a closed session in the afternoon for discussion of cyber security, energy and security issues.
As with all FERC open meetings, this meeting will be open to the public for in-person attendance, and also will be webcast via FERC’s YouTube channel and on FERC.gov. For more information, please go here.
