House Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and Energy, Climate, and Grid Security Subcommittee Chair Jeff Duncan (R-SC) today announced a hearing titled “Oversight of FERC: Adhering to a Mission of Affordable and Reliable Energy for America.”

“The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) plays a critical role in ensuring Americans have access to abundant, affordable, reliable energy. Yet recent steps taken by the commission suggest it is making decisions to advance a rush-to-green agenda that threaten our grid reliability and go beyond its statutory authority. We look forward to hearing directly from FERC commissioners at this hearing to ensure they’re adhering to the commission’s core mission of ensuring affordable and reliable energy for America.”
