Deepak Ramlatchan is the Deputy Director of the Office of Electric Reliability and has been with FERC since 2011. Prior to being named OER’s deputy director, Mr. Ramlatchan served as the Director of the Division of Engineering and Logistics in OER, and in leadership and senior advisor roles in the Office of Enforcement and the Office of Energy Market Regulation. Prior to coming to FERC, Mr. Ramlatchan worked at Consolidated Edison Company of New York as a field supervisor in Electrical Operations and as a senior advisor in Energy Markets Policy, where he first learned about FERC. Mr. Ramlatchan served in the U.S. Navy in enlisted and commissioned officer roles. Mr. Ramlatchan is graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in nuclear engineering and holds an MBA from New York University.
