Statement of Commission Chairman Joseph T. Kelliher upon the announcement that Chief of Staff Daniel Larcamp will leave the Commission to pursue a career in the private sector effective February 28:
"Public service is an honorable career, and Dan Larcamp has served the Commission honorably and with great distinction for more than 20 years. Public servants work long hours and make great sacrifices. Dan has been a model public servant. He served in positions of trust under four consecutive chairmen of both political parties, and played a key leadership role in implementing the Commission's policy agenda while I have been chairman. Dan helped prepare the Commission to discharge its new enforcement responsibilities, advising me on establishment of the Office of Enforcement. I will miss Dan, but he is doing the right thing for his family."
