1.20. “Gross Calorific Heating Value” means the quantity of heat expressed in Btus

produced by the complete combustion at constant pressure of one anhydrous

(dry) cubic foot of Gas with air at a temperature of sixty degrees (60°)

Fahrenheit and at a pressure of 14.73 psia, when the products of the

combustion are cooled to the initial temperature of the Gas and air and the

water formed by combustion is condensed to the liquid state.


1.21. Imbalance” has the meaning specified in Section 13 of the GT&C.


1.22. “IT Agreement” means an agreement pursuant to Rate Schedule IT.

1.23. “Intra-day Nomination” is a nomination submitted after the nomination

deadline whose effective time is as stated in Section 8 of the GT&C.

1.24. “MDQ” means the Maximum Daily Quantity.


1.25. “MMBtu”, “Dekatherm” or “Dth”, means one million (1,000,000) British Thermal

Units (“Btu”) and shall be the standard unit for purposes of nominations,

scheduling, invoicing, and balancing. Allocated quantities and imbalances

shall be expressed in the same units as nominated quantities.

1.26. “Month” means the period from 9:00 a.m. CCT on the first Day of the calendar

month and ending at 9:00 a.m. CCT on the first Day of the next succeeding

calendar month.


1.27. “NAESB” means the North American Energy Standards Board.


1.28. “NAESB Standard” means a standard issued by NAESB and adopted by the

Schedule contained in this Tariff established pursuant to Section 15 of the

Section 8 of the GT&C.
