the record of the recording thermometer, during the time the
Gas is flowing shall be deemed to be the Gas temperature for
that period.
(b) The specific gravity of the Natural Gas delivered shall be
determined at the beginning of delivery of Gas and with such
reasonable frequency thereafter as is found necessary in
practice, and, where applicable, the average of such
determinations shall be used in computing Gas volumes.
23.4 When positive displacement meters are used for the measurement of
Gas the flowing temperature of the Gas at the point of measurement
shall be assumed to be sixty (60) degrees Fahrenheit and no
correction shall be made for any variation therefrom; provided,
however, that Pipeline may install a recording thermometer, and in
the event it does so correction shall be made for variations in
the flowing temperature from sixty (60) degrees Fahrenheit.
24. MEASUREMENT EQUIPMENT
24.1 Pipeline shall provide and maintain at its own expense at or near
Point(s) of Delivery a measuring station properly equipped with a
meter or meters of standard style, the measurements of which shall
fix the total quantity of Gas delivered by Pipeline to Customer;
provided, however, Pipeline shall not be obligated to install such
facilities. Such meter or meters shall be deemed the exclusive
method of measuring all Gas delivered and sold except as
hereinafter specified in situations where Pipeline's meters are
not recording accurately. Upon request, Customer shall be
entitled to have access to the meter or meters at all reasonable
times.
24.2 The accuracy of Pipeline's measuring equipment shall be verified
by Pipeline at reasonable intervals, and if requested, in the
presence of Customer's representatives; provided, however,
Pipeline shall not be required to verify the accuracy of such
equipment more frequently than once in any thirty (30) Day period.
In the event either Pipeline or
