PRELIMINARY STATEMENT
Transwestern Pipeline Company, sometimes herein referred
to as "Transporter" or "Seller", is a natural gas company
engaged in the business of buying, transporting, and
selling natural gas in interstate commerce pursuant to
authority from and subject to the jurisdiction of the
Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
The facilities operated by Transporter consist of a
pipeline system extending from the states of Texas,
Kansas, and Oklahoma through the states of New Mexico and
Arizona to points near the California-Arizona state
border.
The transportation of natural gas under this tariff will
be undertaken by Transporter only under a written or
electronic contract in the form of an executed Service
Agreement of the applicable type prescribed in this
tariff.
This FERC Gas Tariff is filed in compliance with Part 154,
Subchapter E, Chapter 1, Title 18, Code of Federal
Regulations, as promulgated by the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission.
