FERC's Uniform System of Accounts. It is TransColorado's intent
not to recover any annual charges recorded in FERC Account No. 928
in an NGA Section 4 rate case.
21.4 Filing procedure. Filing by the TransColorado to change the
Annual Charge Adjustment shall be made at least 30 days prior to
the proposed effective date, with such period inclusive of 30
days' notice, unless, for good cause shown, lesser periods are
allowed by valid FERC order. Any filing by TransColorado pursuant
to this section shall not become effective until TransColorado has
made payment of the annual charge and such filing has been
approved by the FERC.
21.5 Payment. TransColorado shall remit to the FERC, within 45 days of
the issuance of the bill by the FERC, payment of the annual charge
assessed TransColorado unless TransColorado has filed a petition
under 18 C.F.R. Section 382.105. Payment must be made to the
United States Treasury.
22. GAS RESEARCH INSTITUTE ADJUSTMENT
22.1 GRI Charge. The Statement of Rates shall include an adjustment to
be collected by TransColorado and remitted to the Gas Research
Institute (GRI) for research, development and demonstration
programs, as approved by the FERC in proceedings concerning GRI's
expenditures. This charge shall be adjusted to Shipper's pressure
base and heating value, if necessary.
22.2 Applicability. The GRI charge shall be applicable to all natural
gas tendered to TransColorado for delivery under rate schedules in
this tariff, except it shall not be applicable to natural gas that
(a) is tendered by a Shipper that is a participating GRI member
that includes an equivalent GRI charge in its rates applicable to
such gas, or (b) is eventually resold to or transported by another
interstate pipeline that applies an equivalent GRI charge to such
gas or (c) is discounted.
22.3 Filing Procedure. Filings by TransColorado to change the GRI
charge shall be made at least 45 days prior to proposed effective
date. Such period shall include at least 30 days' notice to
