PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

Florida Gas Transmission Company (hereinafter called "Transporter") is a

natural gas transmission company engaged in the business of transporting

natural gas. It is authorized to operate facilities in Texas, Louisiana,

Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida, supplying service areas located in North,

South, East, and West Florida, as shown on the System Map on Sheet No. 7.
