CANCELLATION OF RATE SCHEDULE X-98

Notice is hereby given that effective January 1, 2002, Rate

Schedule X-98, constituting Original Sheet Nos. 414 through

427 of the FERC Gas Tariff, First Revised Volume No. 2 of

Dominion Transmission, Inc., for the transportation of gas

for Virginia Power Service Energy Corporation, Inc.,

successor to Virginia Electric and Power Company, was cancelled

in accordance with the Commission's letter order issued

October 30, 2001, Docket No. RP01-602-000.

This transportation of gas was certificated to CNG Transmission

Corporation, et al. by order dated July 30, 1990, in Docket

No. CP88-712-000, et al. (52 FERC 61,112 (1990) reh'g 57

FERC 61,032 (1991)).
