PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

WTG Hugoton, LP is a natural gas company which owns and operates a

natural gas pipeline system extending from Kansas to Oklahoma. WTG Hugoton

transports natural gas under this Tariff under authorizations granted by and

subject to the jurisdiction of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

("FERC" or "Commission").
