19. QUALITY OF GAS
19.1 SPECIFICATIONS
(a) In order to permit delivery into downstream
facilities, the Gas received by KMLP under any Agreement shall meet
the following requirements, unless otherwise agreed:
(1) shall be free from objectionable liquids,
odors, solid matter, dust, gums, and gum forming constituents, or
any other substance which might interfere with the merchantability
of the Gas stream, or cause interference with proper operation of
the lines, meters, regulators, other appliances through which it
may flow, or transportation through any downstream pipeline;
(2) shall contain not more than seven (7) pounds
of water vapor per one thousand (1,000) MCF;
(3) shall contain not more than one quarter (1/4)
grain of hydrogen sulfide per one hundred (100) cubic feet of Gas;
(4) shall contain not more than five (5) grains of
total sulphur per one hundred (100) cubic feet of Gas, including
mercaptans and hydrogen sulfide;
(5) shall contain not more than four percent (4%)
by volume of nitrogen;
(6) shall contain not more than two percent (2%)
by volume of carbon dioxide;
(6.5) shall contain not more than four percent (4%)
by volume of total inerts;
(7) shall contain not more than ten parts per
million (10 ppm) by volume of combined oxygen;
(8) shall have a temperature of not more than one
hundred twenty degrees Fahrenheit (120 degrees F) and shall have a
minimum temperature of not less than forty degrees Fahrenheit (40
degrees F);
(9) the capacity of the System on which KMLP's
firm service obligation is predicated is based on receiving Gas
with a Btu content of at least 1065 Btu/cf. KMLP agrees to accept
