6. QUALITY OF GAS
6.1 HEAT CONTENT. The gas delivered at each of the
points of receipt and delivery shall contain a gross
heating value of not less than 950 Btu's per cubic foot
for more than 1,150 Btu's per cubic foot.
6.2 MERCHANTABILITY. The gas shall be commercially free
from dust, gums, gum-forming constituents, dirt,
impurities or other solid or liquid matter which might
interfere with its merchantability or cause injury to or
interference with proper operation of the pipelines,
regulators, meters, or other equipment of Transporter. The
gas shall also be free of all matter that is deemed
hazardous or toxic and is subject to regulation by the
Environmental Protection Agency or any State agency
having similar jurisdiction or authority.
6.3 HYDROGEN SULFIDE. The gas shall not contain more
than 0.5 grain of H2S per 100 cubic feet.
6.4 TOTAL SULFUR. The gas shall not contain more than 20
grains of total sulfur per Mcf, of which not more than 2
grains shall be mercaptan sulfur.
6.5 OXYGEN. The gas shall not at any time have an oxygen
content in excess of ten parts per million by volume, and
the parties shall make every reasonable effort to keep the
gas free of oxygen.
