(ii) For longer term releases (5 months or more):
-- Offers should be tendered by 1:00 p.m.
four business days before award for long-
term releases;
-- Open season ends no later than 2:00 p.m.
on the day before nominations are due
(open season is 3 business days);
-- Evaluation period begins at 2:00 p.m.
during which contingency is eliminated,
determination of best bid is made, and
ties are broken;
-- Evaluation period ends at 3:15 p.m.;
-- Match or award is communicated by 3:15
p.m.;
-- Match response by 4:00 p.m.;
-- Award posting by 5:00 p.m.;
-- Posting of pre-arranged deals not subject
to bid by 9:00 a.m. the day of
nominations;
-- Contract tendered with contract number by
10:00 a.m.; contract executed; nomination
possible for next day gas flow (Central
Clock Time).
14.4 Bidding For Assignments
Any party must bid on the IEC system to accept assignment of the
Service Agreement under the conditions posted in conjunction with
a Release Notice.
In order to submit a valid bid, any party, including a Designated
Replacement Shipper, must be on the approved bidders list. To be
on the approved bidders list, a party must meet the provisions of
Section 6 of these General Terms and Conditions and must have
executed a capacity release service agreement with KPC in the form
as set forth in this tariff (Capacity Release Service Agreement).
A party shall remain on the approved bidders list until such party
notifies KPC to the contrary, no longer meets the credit
qualifications in Section 6.2 of these General Terms and
Conditions or is suspended from the approved bidders list in the
event such party fails to pay part or all of the amount of any
bill for service in accordance with Section 15 of these General
Terms and Conditions.
