PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

Questar Southern Trails Pipeline Company (Southern

Trails) is a natural-gas company engaged in the business of

transporting natural gas in the States of Utah, New Mexico,

Arizona and California.

This Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Gas

Tariff, Original Volume No. 1, includes firm transportation

Rate Schedule FT, interruptible transportation Rate Schedule

IT, General Terms and Conditions applicable to

transportation service provided by Southern Trails pursuant

to 18 C.F.R. Part 284, Subparts B and G, and forms of

service agreements and amendments to service agreements

provided under Rate Schedules FT and IT.
