FORM OF SERVICE AGREEMENT

RATE SCHEDULE FT-1

THIS AGREEMENT (“Agreement”) is made and entered into as of the ______ day of

_______________, ______, by and between MarkWest Pioneer, L.L.C., referred to as

“Transporter” and ______________________, referred to as “Shipper.” Transporter and Shipper

are collectively referred to as the “Parties.” This Agreement is made pursuant to Rate

Schedule FT-1 of Transporter’s FERC Gas Tariff, Original Volume No. 1 (“Tariff”), on file

with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“Commission”).

WITNESSETH:

WHEREAS, Transporter owns and operates the Arkoma Connector Pipeline; and

WHEREAS, Shipper desires to purchase transportation service from Transporter under Rate

Schedule FT-1.

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and mutual covenants and agreements herein

contained, Transporter and Shipper agree as follows:

ARTICLE I

SERVICE TO BE RENDERED

Transporter shall perform and Shipper shall receive transportation service in accordance

with the provisions of the effective Rate Schedule FT-1 and the applicable General Terms and

Conditions (“GT&C”) of Transporter’s Tariff, as the same may be amended, or superseded, or

modified from time to time in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The maximum

obligations of Transporter to transport gas hereunder for Shipper, and the designation of

the Primary Receipt Point(s) and Primary Delivery Point(s) at which service will be rendered

for Shipper, are specified on Exhibit A of this Agreement, as the same may be amended from

time to time by agreement between Shipper and Transporter, or as required by the rules and

regulations of the Commission.

ARTICLE II

TERM OF AGREEMENT

Service under this Agreement shall commence as of _________________________ and shall

continue in full force and effect until _________________________. Shipper and Transporter

agree to avail themselves of the Commission’s pre-granted abandonment authority upon

termination of this Agreement, subject to any right of first refusal Shipper may have under

the Commission’s rules and regulations and Transporter’s Tariff.
