RATE SCHEDULE NFT
NO-NOTICE FIRM TRANSPORTATION SERVICE
(continued)
2.1 NFT service is a companion service to Firm Transportation
service under Rate Schedule FT-N. NFT service is a
delivery-point service providing no-notice firm delivery
of natural gas above or below the Shipper's scheduled
amount under its corresponding Firm Transportation
Service Agreement up to the Shipper's MDTQ without
incurring daily scheduling charges, balancing or
imbalance penalties.
(a) This Rate Schedule shall apply to the
transportation of natural gas by Western on a firm
basis pursuant to an FT-N Agreement executed by
Western and Shipper providing for firm
transportation service up to a Maximum Annual
Transportation Quantity ("MATQ") and a Maximum
Daily Transportation Quantity ("MDTQ").
(b) NFT applies to the daily volume variance between (i) the
amount scheduled at the delivery point, and (ii) the
amount actually taken by Shipper at the delivery point.
Under no circumstances does NFT obligate Western to
provide, or allow the Shipper to take, other than where
overrun has been authorized, volume in excess of its
MDTQ.
(c) The Shipper is responsible for scheduling its
anticipated throughput receipts and deliveries.
(d) The upper daily delivery point limit for this NFT
service is the lessor of (i) the scheduled firm
transportation volume plus the NFT contract
quantity, plus authorized overrun, or (ii) the firm
MDTQ plus authorized overrun. The lower daily
delivery point limit for this no-notice service is
the greater of (i) the scheduled firm
transportation volume plus authorized overrun,
minus the NFT contract quantity, or (ii) zero.
(e) All delivered volumes above or below the scheduled firm
deliveries will be assessed either (i) the NFT commodity
charge where NFT has been contracted, or (ii) the Daily
Scheduling and Balancing Charges, as applicable, for
volumes delivered but not covered by NFT, plus any other
applicable charges.
