measurement equipment for a period of three (3)
years or such other period or periods as may be
prescribed with respect to them by regulatory
bodies having jurisdiction.
6. METERING ERRORS:
6.1 Correction of Metering Errors - (a) If, upon test,
Western's measuring equipment is found to be in
error by not more than two percent (2%), previous
recordings of such equipment shall be considered
accurate in computing deliveries, but such
equipment shall be adjusted at once to record
accurately. Errors exceeding two percent (2%) at
a recording corresponding to the average hourly
rate of flow for the period since the last
preceding test will be corrected. Previous
recordings of such equipment shall be corrected to
zero error for any period which is known
definitely or agreed upon. If the period is not
known or agreed upon, the correction shall be made
for a period of one-half of the time elapsed since
the last test but shall not exceed sixteen (16)
days.
(b) Measurement data corrections will be processed
within 6 months of the production month with a 3 month
rebuttal period. This standard will not apply in the
case of deliberate ommission or misrepresentation or
mutual mistake of fact. Parties' other statutory or
contractual rights shall not otherwise be diminshed
by this standard.
