GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

5. CURTAILMENT

In the event that System Capacity becomes inadequate to provide

previously scheduled service, and the provisions of Section 6.3

have been invoked without the necessary corrective action by

Shipper, Transporter shall curtail service as follows:

(a) First, Transporter shall curtail parking and lending service to

Shippers receiving service under the PL Rate Schedule in the

order of the unit rate at which the service is being performed,

beginning with the unit rate that represents the lowest

percentage of the maximum applicable rate. Among Shippers paying

the same rate for service under this rate schedule, service will

be curtailed pro-rata on the basis of scheduled quantities, and

(b) Second, Transporter shall curtail Authorized Overrun Quantities

and service to those Shippers receiving service under the IT Rate

Schedule in the order of the unit rate at which the service is

being performed, beginning with the unit rate that represents the

lowest percentage of the maximum applicable rate. Transporter

shall allocate capacity among Shippers paying the same rate on a

first-come, first-served basis in accordance with the date on

which service was requested. Among Shippers having the same

first-come, first served priority, service will be curtailed pro

rata on the basis of scheduled quantities; and

service under the FT Rate Schedule pro rata on the basis of

Maximum Transportation Quantities.
