1. DEFINITIONS (cont'd)
(y) The term "natural gas" or "gas" shall mean any mixture of
hydrocarbons consisting essentially of methane, other
hydrocarbons, and noncombustible gases in a gaseous state
which is extracted from the subsurface of the earth in its
natural state. The term "natural gas stream" includes
"natural gas" or "gas", separately and together with
Liquids, meeting the quality specifications set forth in
Section 2 hereof, and Retrograde Condensate.
(z) The term "new facilities" shall mean those facilities on
Transporter's System which were not included in the
certificate filing in Docket CP96-159-000 which are
necessary in order for Transporter to provide the
transportation service(s) that a Shipper requests by use of
the Service Request Form (for example, a new, additional
Receipt and/or Delivery Point).
(aa) The term "Nomination Period" shall mean a period of time a
customer includes in a nomination for gas services.
(ab) The term "Operational Balancing Agreement" or "OBA" shall
mean a contract between two parties which specifies the
procedures to manage operating variances at an interconnect.
(ac) The term "Operational Flow Order" or "OFO" shall mean an
order issued to alleviate conditions, inter alia, which
threaten or could threaten the safe operations or system
integrity, of the Transportation Service Provider's system
or to maintain operations required to provide efficient and
reliable firm service. Whenever a Transportation Service
Provider experiences these conditions, any pertinent order
should be referred to as an Operational Flow Order.
(ad) The term "Pooling" shall mean (a) the aggregation of gas
from multiple physical and/or logical points to a single or
physical or logical point, and/or (b) the dis-aggregation of
gas from a single physical or logical point to multiple
physical and/or logical points.
