ascertainable, then back one-half of the time elapsed
since the date of last calibration, but not to exceed
sixteen (16) days.
14.9 Failure of Metering Equipment
If for any reason, meters are out of service or out of
repair so that the amount of gas received or delivered
cannot be ascertained or computed from the reading
thereof, the gas received or delivered through the
period such meters are out of service or out of repair
shall be determined and agreed upon by Sabine and the
interconnecting Operator upon the basis of the data
available, using the first of the following methods
which is feasible:
a) By using the registration of any check
meter(s), if installed and accurately registering;
b) By using the registration of telemetry
equipment connected to Sabine's or Operator's
metering facilities, if installed and accurately
registering;
c) By correcting the error if the percentage of
error is ascertainable by calibration, test or
mathematical calculation;
d) By determining the quantity of receipts or
deliveries during the preceding periods under
similar conditions when the meter was registering
accurately.
14.10 Preservation of Measurement Records
Upon request of either Sabine or the Operator, each
party will submit to the other party records and charts
from its measuring equipment, together with
calculations therefrom, for the other party's
inspection and verification and copying, if desired,
subject to return within thirty (30) Days after the
receipt thereof. Sabine, however, shall only be
required for the purposes hereof, to retain the charts
and records referred to herein for a period of two (2)
years from the date of the charts and
