PRELIMINARY STATEMENT

This Original Volume No. 1 of the FERC Gas Tariff of Equitrans,

L.P. ("Equitrans") contains the Rates and Charges, Rate Schedules, General

Terms and Conditions, and Forms of Service Agreements applicable to

transportation and storage service performed by Equitrans under Sections 284.7

and 284.284 of the regulations of the FERC and to transportation and storage

service performed by Equitrans under certificates of public convenience and

necessity issued by the FERC pursuant to Section 7(c) of the Natural Gas Act.
