20. ELECTRONIC BULLETIN BOARD
20.1 General
(a) Definition. "Electronic Bulletin Board" or "EBB" shall mean the
electronic system(s) established by Transporter to effectuate
the exchange of both public and proprietary information between
Transporter and Shippers and/or electronic bulletin board
users. The distinction between Transporter's public and
proprietary information systems, with regards to specific
references to the "EBB" or "electronic bulletin board in this
Tariff, are governed by the contextual usage of the terms. The
EBB system will include Transporter's proprietary customer
information system, i.e., the CIG Xpress system, which is
utilized for the exchange of a Shipper's contract-specific
information. In addition, the EBB system will present publicly
available information as required by the regulatory mandate of
various commission Orders, especially the Order No. 636 series
of orders. The details of the EBB system meeting these
regulatory requirements are described in the remainder of this
Section 20.
(b) Transporter supports via Electronic Communication, the exchange
of certain business information utilizing the EDI data sets
(Data Dictionaries) included in the NAESB Standards.
20.2 Electronic Bulletin Board System Characteristics and Information.
(a) Regulatory Requirements. Transporter will maintain an
electronic bulletin board ("EBB"), in compliance with the
FERC's Order No. 636, et al., which will provide bulletin board
users with information on transportation capacity available
from the Transporter or through the capacity release provision
of Section 9 hereof. Transporter also complies with the
regulatory requirements of the FERC as they relate to the
provision of specific business information via EDI, in the
manner described above.
