IB RATE SCHEDULE
INTERRUPTIBLE BALANCING SERVICE
1. AVAILABILITY
This Rate Schedule is available to any Customer for the
purchase of Interruptible balancing service from BLUEWATER,
provided that:
(a) BLUEWATER has determined that it has sufficient
operationally available and uncommitted Interruptible storage
capacity and injection and withdrawal capacity to perform service
Customer has requested;
(b) BLUEWATER has determined that service Customer has
requested will not interfere with efficient operation of its
system or with Higher Priority Service;
(c) Customer and BLUEWATER have executed a Hub Services
Agreement under this Rate Schedule;
(d) Customer accepts responsibility for arranging any
upstream or downstream transportation service and obtaining any
governmental authorizations, licenses or other approvals,
including any import and/or export authorizations, required for
utilization of the balancing service provided under this Rate
Schedule; and
(e) Service under this Rate Schedule may not be
available to the extent that BLUEWATER would be required to
construct, modify, expand or acquire any facilities to enable
BLUEWATER to perform the requested services.
2. APPLICABILITY AND CHARACTER OF SERVICE
This Rate Schedule shall apply to all Interruptible balancing
service rendered by BLUEWATER to Customer through use of
BLUEWATER's storage facility located in Michigan pursuant to an
executed Hub Services Agreement.
Interruptible balancing service rendered by BLUEWATER to
Customer under this Rate Schedule shall consist of the injection,
storage, and withdrawal of quantities of Gas in order to manage
imbalances created by Customer under the Rate Schedules set forth
in this FERC Gas Tariff. Service under this Rate Schedule
includes:
(a) The injection on any Day into storage of Customer's
Gas (less Fuel Reimbursement) up to Customer's Maximum Daily
Injection Quantity ("MDIQ") per Customer's nomination, provided
that all Higher Priority Service nominations for injection have
been satisfied and that Customer has sufficient capacity available
as part of its Interruptible balancing Maximum Storage Quantity to
accommodate the nominated injection quantity.
