Footnotes

(1) The currently effective tariff rate is the sum of the base tariff rate

and the applicable surcharges. To the extent Transporter discounts

the maximum currently effective tariff rate, such discounts will be

applied on a non-discriminatory basis, subject to the policies of Order

No. 497.

A "Facility Cost-of-Service Charge," as defined in Section 19 of the

General Terms and Conditions, is payable in addition to all other rates

and charges if such a charge is included in Exhibit C to a Shipper's

Transportation Service Agreement.

(2) Rates for Rate Schedules FT-1 are also applicable to capacity

release service. (Section 20 of the General Terms and Conditions

describes how bids for capacity release will be evaluated.) The

maximum reservation rates do not apply to capacity release transactions

of one year or less that begin within one year of notification to

Transporter.

(3) The "Index Price" shall be set forth in this footnote and shall be

equivalent to the lowest charge for unauthorized underruns and overruns

charged by Northwest Pipeline GP or successor company delivering into

Transporter's pipeline. This Index Price shall be changed from time to

time to reflect any change in the charge by Northwest Pipeline GP or

successor company delivering into Transporter's pipeline. The Index

Price charged under this provision is $5.00 per MMBtu.
