36.4 ADVISORY ACTIONS
In the event Transporter determines that action is required to
alleviate or forestall a situation in which System pressure is not
maintained or when the overall operational integrity of the System
or any portion of the System is jeopardized, Transporter may take
the Advisory Actions set out herein to alleviate or forestall the
development of such a situation.
A. Transporter may request Shippers or other entities affecting
its System to take any of the following actions, or other
similar actions, to the extent such actions would tend to
alleviate the situation, on a voluntary basis:
(1) Increase or decrease the supply mix of deliveries;
(2) Shift receipts to obtain better Capacity Balance;
(3) Change Receipt or Delivery Points;
(4) Change usage patterns (e.g., end users switch to
alternate Fuels);
(5) Provide assistance from market area resources;
(6) Activate pre-negotiated voluntary arrangements under
which Gas is diverted from one Shipper to another or
from a non-Shipper to a Shipper (which arrangements
may specify appropriate compensation);
(7) Reconcile transportation Imbalances; and/or
(8) Such other voluntary action as would tend to alleviate
or forestall the situation.
