most accurate method feasible. If the inaccuracy shall have
resulted in an error of more than 2% in the measurement of gas,
then the calculated deliveries of gas shall be adjusted to
compensate for such error. Such adjustment shall be made for
such period of inaccuracy as may be definitely known. If the
period of inaccuracy shall not be definitely known, then such
adjustment shall be made for the last half of the period (but
not exceeding 15 days) between the time the metering equipment
was adjusted to register correctly and the date of the last
previous meter test. If for any reason the measuring equipment
is out of service or out of repair so that the amount of gas
delivered cannot be ascertained or computed from the readings
thereof, the amount of gas delivered during such period shall
be estimated and agreed upon by the use of the first of the
following methods which is feasible: (a) by using the
registration of any check measuring equipment if installed and
accurately registering; (b) by correcting the error if the
percentage of error is ascertainable by calibration, test or
mathematical calculation; or (c) by estimating the quantity of
gas delivered by reference to actual deliveries during
proceeding periods under similar conditions when the equipment
in question was registering accurately.
4.4 Check Measuring Equipment:
Shipper may install, maintain and operate, at its own expense,
such check measuring equipment as it shall desire, provided
that such equipment shall be so installed as not to interfere
with the operation of Transporter's measuring equipment.
4.5 Retention of Records:
All original records of measurement or test data compiled by
either party in conjunction with the provisions of
Transporter's Rate Schedules and these General Terms and
Conditions shall be preserved by the party for a minimum period
of three (3) years from the date the record was made.
