Description: |
The Subcommittee will hold a hearing on pending legislation, including:
- S. 2070, a bill directing that FERC shall not issue a new license for a hydro project on the Mohawk River that has been operating under annual licenses for 10 or more years unless specified conditions are met (School Street and Cohoes Falls projects in New York) and
- S. 3851, a bill to provide for the extension of preliminary permit periods by FERC for the Thomas Bay project in Alaska, defined as FERC Project Nos. 12495, 12619 and 12621.
