The goal of the technical conference is to explore possible policy changes that would better accommodate, in particular, the increased participation of coal-fired energy in wholesale markets.
The Commission solicited nominations for speakers at the technical conference. Such nominations were made before the close of business Friday, April 1, 2005, so that a final agenda for the technical conference could be drafted and published.
Although registration was not a
strict requirement, in-person attendees were asked to register for the conference
on-line by close of business on May 10, 2005. |
